Set a PIN and add your kids
Choose a PIN for the parent side, then add each kid by first name. - 4
Scan the code to link the parent portal, optional
Scan the code on screen with your phone to link the parent portal, if you want it.

Questions parents ask
Does it need internet?
Not to use it. The computer needs internet to install, to check for software updates about once a day, and, if you use Cloud, to sync.
Can my kid get out of it?
No: no browser, no desktop, no shortcuts.
What if I stop paying for Cloud?
The computer keeps working; you lose the remote portal.
What is the parent PIN, and how do I change it?
A new computer starts with the PIN 2468. Hold the gear in the corner of the screen for two seconds, type it in, open System, and choose Change the PIN. Pick your own 4 to 8 digits; the default is public, so do this before you hand the computer over.
Is my data safe?
First name and birth month only, deleted 30 days after you cancel.
